My obsession with cauliflower continues. I can't take credit for this dish, as in most of my recipes I post, but this one is on our weekly dinner rotation and a kid favorite. Last week I made it for a side dish with our chicken wings and last night we had it with salmon and broccoli. It's full of cheesy flavor without the unwanted carbs. Click here for the recipe and be sure to let me know if you tried it...

fun hair ties
What a week this has been! My parents were in town for a long weekend and we are so grateful that we had them for five days. It's always sad to see them go but we sure made the most of their time with us and boy did we have some fun while they were here! The flu has hit us hard as well. Jack first then Ryan so there hasn't been much action around the house other than going to the doctor's office and lounging around. Looks like we'll be laying low this weekend and resting up to seize next week! Here's a look at my favorites and make the most of your weekend y'all.

Let's talk tech. I normally carry big purses and cram everything in except the kitchen sink but as of late I just want to travel light. I love the idea of just bringing my essentials like my driver's license, debit card and a little cash while running my daily errands. A couple of weeks ago I started using a wrap phone case that opens up and has two places for cards but no place to put a little cash so it wasn't very practical to say the least. I was beyond excited when I received the jimmyCASE to review. It's so different than any other case I've used and I have nothing negative to say about it. It's made in California, it's light weight and the elastic band holds up to 6 cards and cash.

This iPhone 6 + wallet case comes in 13 different colors to choose from so there's a color for everyone. Pink and gray are two of my favorite colors so it was a no brainer for me when I saw this color combo. The elastic band is specially made for this company so the fit is tight but it's also easy to remove my drivers license and debit card. I have no worries about the elastic stretching so
I feel confident that my cards and cash won't fall out. There's no flap that blocks my camera so that makes taking pictures so much easier than using my old phone case. The buttons on the side are easy to push and I had no problem snapping my phone in. After receiving this product I was blown away by the quality and now my whole family is wanting this phone case. They all are handmade right in Los Angeles and come with a 30 day guarantee. This iPhone case with card holder would make a perfect gift, especially for the person who has everything or for someone who is just wanting to simplify their life!
*I received this product complimentary for reviewing purposes but all opinions are my own.

champagne pi's (similar here)
It's been a rainy week but we've managed to stay afloat and weather the storm. My workouts have taken a back seat this week due to consuming too much coffee on these rainy days but secretly I don't really mind. It's been kind of nice to be "rained in" while getting back to business with my weekly blog posts in my pj's. With that being said, awards season is in full swing and there's nothing better than enjoying a glass (or two) of bubbles, wearing comfy champagne pajamas as you watch all the glamour and glitz on the red carpet. Check out my link above and hope you enjoy my recent favorites. Cheers to the weekend y'all!

unexpectedly delicious "breadstick"With a new year comes new resolutions and right now we're all about low carbs around here. Our goal is to incorporate more cauliflower into our meals and this past weekend I came across a recipe for cauliflower "breadsticks" that made my mouth water. I could have made them a little more cheesier and prettier with fresh basil but that would have involved another trip to the store. Next time I'll be sure to follow the recipe 100%. Definitely should have baked them on my air bake for a little crispier bottom. Check out the recipe here and a few more of my pics below.
