deviled eggs
Did y'all know that you can bake your eggs instead of boiling them? I just discovered this recently and decided to give it a try this past Easter Sunday. They say to test a few to see how your oven cooks but I just went for it and cooked 12 eggs. They came out "eggsellent" and this is how I will make them from here on out. Here's how...
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Place eggs in a muffin tin (no water needed)
Cook for 30 minutes
Remove immediately and place in ice bath.
Peel right away.
I baked my eggs for 32 minutes (instead of 30) because I was a little nervous that they wouldn't be done. Mistake... I think that's why mine came out with these brown spots. Maybe I should have done a test run!
I'm looking forward to making these again and here's my recipe for deviled eggs.
serves 24 eggs
Ingredients
12 eggs
1/2 cup vegenaise (or you can use mayo)
1 T yellow mustard
1 t red vinegar
salt & pepper to taste
paprika
How to
Mix yolks with above ingredients and sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
I literally just tried deviled eggs for the first time EVER! Crazy, right?! I've totally been missing out because they were amazing. If I ever make them, I am using your recipe!

I've never thought to do it that way! We always cook them in boiling water on the stove top!
