Try It Tuesday...Blue Apron

meatless calzone
We all know that weekday dinners can be chaotic and hard to plan especially if you have kids who are involved with after school sports. After going back and forth for months trying to decide if I should try Blue Apron, I finally gave it a go when my sister gave me a coupon to use for two free meals. No brainer right? Out of the four meals that were offered I chose the broccoli and cheese calzones and pork chops with vegetable hash. Although I loved not having to think about what we were going to have for dinner those nights, the meal prep was a little tedious for my liking. I'm not sure if I would order again because I do feel like it's a little pricey for the amount of food but I guess you are paying for the convenience of it all. For example, the calzone's didn't come with a side so thankfully that night I had the ingredients to pull together a caesar salad. Blue Apron isn't for us right now but it's nice to have two new dinner recipes under my belt.

  2. Your meals do look delish but I have to say, I am not a fan of blue apron. You have to try HomeChef, so much less tedious and I think the meals are even better, too! I actually wrote about HomeChef in the EAT section of this post... http://www.iadorewhatilove.com/2016/02/19/weekly-wins-3/ A $30 coupon is included! Check it out! Xoxo Dana
