Try It Tuesday...Homemade Sloppy Joe's

One of the easiest and kid friendly dinner's you can make is homemade sloppy joes. We have been on a pretzel bread kick lately and decided to try the buns out on the joe's this last time. It was fun to change it up a little with these but regular buns taste just as good too. These sandwiches are also great to make for a big crowd and if you put them in a slow cooker everyone can eat when they choose. Believe me when I say that these aren't your typical manwich loose meat sandwiches...

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 onion-chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 green pepper-chopped
3/4 c ketchup
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp water
2 T brown sugar
2 tsp mustard
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
chili powder to taste

How to
Cook first four ingredients together and drain. Add remaining ingredients and let cook for 20 minutes or so. Serve on buns, add chips and a pickle and dinner is served!

  1. OMG I haven't had a sloppy joe in so long. You've brought back so many happy memories for me. I don't know what took me so long to make this, but I will be making this soon. Thanks Charity.
