Try It Tuesday with monogramming your Converse...

My daughter is developing a love of shoes and I'll have to say that deep down it makes me beam with pride! She has switched back and forth from Vans to Converse over the years and she's now back on a Converse kick but stepping it up a notch by personalizing them with her monogram. I love the look of high-tops with either leggings, flowy shorts or dresses. What is most important is that they are perfect for her to wear all day at school. My daughter would say that they are on fleek and I can't argue with her...this is one trend that you have to try!  Nordstrom did a great job with the monogramming and she was able to pick her own font and color of thread to make them her own. Obviously, she chose the white sneakers with navy thread but step out of the box and choose a different color of shoe with a coordinating thread color. I think this special touch adds just the right amount of femininity and the only down fall is that I won't be able to borrow them from her!

Or go with low tops and monogram the side of the sneaker.
The perforated sneakers are one of my favorites too!

  1. Looking good, Ry! Such a fun addition to Chuck's!

  2. That is such a brilliant idea! I have never seen that done before! It makes it like a touch more girly and different since everyone is walking around with white converse. I love this!

She'll be the envy of all of her friends, that's for sure! :)

  4. Me and my mom borrow each others shoes because we're the same size lol. So when I read the downfall of you not wearing the sneakers I just laughed. I loved this post.

  6. Love the monogram option. Chucks will forever be in style!

  7. She's so little to have this collection. Great for her! I'll be beaming with pride too for her.
