Try It Tuesday...

Ranch Chicken on the menu today!

We're not big lovers of chicken over here...well,  if it's in a fried form then my kids will not hesitate to eat it but I try to steer away from that as often as I can!

So I make this Ranch Chicken recipe that Mark's agent gave to me years ago. It's an easy, inexpensive recipe that requires minimal skills in the kitchen.  My kids love eating chicken this way and hope you and yours do to!

This recipe calls for only 5 ingredients and it's great to make ahead of time or you can even freeze it!

1/3 C Ranch Dressing of your choice (I use a simply natural organic)
1 TBSP of flour
4-5  THINLY CUT chicken breasts of your choice
(I buy the thin cut or you can slice yours in half)
1/4 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 C grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Mix your dressing and flour together
I put my chicken in a plastic bag and toss in the dressing/flour mix to coat the meat.  If that's not how you roll you can always put your chicken in your dish and coat it that way.

Put the chicken in a 9x13 baking dish.

Combine your cheeses and sprinkle over breasts

Bake for 25 minutes!

Ranch Chicken
I chose to serve this dish with roasted (burnt!) brussel sprouts.
Ryan and I can't get enough of them these days!

  1. This looks like something Logan would like. Will have to try. We love roasted Brussels Sprouts over here too. Now that it is Summer I will go back to making them in the cast iron skillet so the house doesn't get a 1000 degrees. Thanks for sharing.

PS You can keep the brussels sprouts, though! :-P
