Graduation 2: The Sequel

We're southbound and down heading home from the Big D- another memory filled weekend with family and friends. I'm sitting here typing away in the co-pilots seat trying to take my mind off Mark's aggressive driving, thirsty but can't drink anything because I already have a full bladder. I have to hold it for another 72 miles until we get to Buc-ee's-the cleanest bathrooms in the state of Texas.

Scratch that because Ryan had to go to the bathroom so we stopped at the Exon in Fairfield and was greeted by many cockroaches in the stall and throughout the store. Needless to say not my kind of stop.

Anyway we have spent the past two years celebrating my family's graduations in Dallas. It has been a weekend we have looked forward to every year.  It was Lindsey's turn this year and she is headed to OU

Family pic with Lindsey-our graduate heading to OU!

Nothing is better than three days of family chaos in a hotel, laughing hysterically, exploring a new city, trying different restaurants and just hanging out together making memories. The BBQ sampler at "Hamilton's Smoke House" is still our favorite meal! Joe if you feel the need to feed a massive amount of people next year I'm pretty sure you could start your own graduation catering service! Or just have us all back up!

I always soak up every minute I can when we're with family.  Sitting at Lindsey's graduation party I couldn't help to feel so grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people that I am proud to call family. I didn't want the night to end...I just wanted time to stand still. But I guess all good things must come to an end so with that being said we left and headed straight to In-N-Out to drown my sorrows. I had to have my fix before we left town!

Check out a few more pics from the weekend!
