Hard to believe that it's that time of year again. Of course, we were running late this morning and didn't get "the money shot" but at least their first day of school was documented. Big day-Gooey butter cake for breakfast and out to lunch to celebrate their first 1/2 day of 1st & 3rd grade!
Yes, this really is Ryan with Joe, Nick & Kevin hanging at our hotel in Chi-town!
They were in town for a concert and we just happened to run into them in the lobby! We had to wait around for 1 1/2 and it really cut into our shopping time but it was worth every minute!
I would say that there were around 30 people waiting for them and a TON of crazies outside of the hotel but we pretty much had them all to ourselves. They were so nice to take pictures with us and to sign their autograph for Ry Bray.
That was definitely the icing on the cake for our American Girl trip.
It's that time of year again where Mark (pictured on left) turns another year older and wiser! He's now caught up with me...feeling 29 hasn't ever felt so good! Well, here's to celebrating many more birthdays with you! Happy Birthday Mr. Toots! We love you!
Swim time with Team McFarland Silver Beach Lake, MI South Bend with Team Bell Fashion design at the Barbie Exhibit Digging at the Indy Childrens Museum A few pics of what we were up to last week....summer is flying by.
I was looking through my pictures but realized I don't have a lot of pictures of Vance solo. It seems like he is always with his cuz and I don't know how to edit so I thought I would share some of these crazy pics with everyone!
Have a wonderful day today Vance and here's to many many years of acting crazy with your cousins. We love you and can't wait to celebrate this weekend with you!!!
He's thinking....What did I get myself into? Shot in Madtown.
Ryan's jazz class is finally over. All of her Tuesday night classes the past year have been well worth the wait. Yesterday's recital was fantastic! They danced to the song "SuperStar" by Toybox... and for some reason I can't stop singing it in my head.
Dora Dora Dora the Explorer was the theme for Vaughn's birthday party Saturday night. We celebrated her second birthday fiesta style...bag o tacos and all! I still can't believe how much you have changed in a year Vaughnie...Enjoy your year and Happy Birthday to you. Love your cheeks and LOVE you lots!
Introducing our new garden buddy! Aunt Charisa gave this to Ryan in her Easter basket and she couldn't wait to get home and paint it. Our garden is now complete. Let the good luck start flowing..........
Our lucky leprechaun paid the kids a visit last night...did he visit anyone else? There was no time to make a trap for him last night but Ryan did leave a note asking him to leave gold, chocolate and "stuff" here on the counter.
The leprechaun hasn't visited our kids since 2006 in Madison, Wi at Team McFarland's house. The kids that year built a trap for him but he escaped leaving chocolate and necklaces.
So last night at bedtime Ryan insisted that we make a trap for him but it was 9:30 and a little too late to start a project like that. After her wheels fell off her cart we let her leave him a note but Mark made sure to tell her that we weren't Irish and stuff like that only happens in Wisconsin (thanks a lot Charisa!)
The scramble began and what do you know...that lucky leprechaun showed up after all!
I guess it's time to officially start enjoying your senior perks Wally! That's right-you've earned it and now it's time to celebrate! Happy Birthday to you and here's to celebrating with a glass of single malt scotch. If you're feeling really crazy I heard that a glass of Passport scotch goes down smooth with a can of spotted dick. LMAO!
4:00 tea at American Girl with lovely background music. Cheers to you birthday girl! By the smile on her face I'm pretty sure Ryan is having the time of her life! Jane at her 7:30 hair appointment! Notice the cape and her chair-
I will never forget her excitement and the look on her face when we walked in to American Girl. What a great way to spend your 8th birthday! Thanks for the memories Ry Bray!
