Here it is ....Mark's jersey painted on the outfield wall at Nat Buring baseball field at Memphis University! It's hanging w/three other baseball greats - Bobby Kilpatrick, Mike Paxton, and Dave Anderson. It was nice that they honored Mark-he had a pretty good run when he played there! I believe he still holds a lot of single season records. It was a quick trip down to Memphis but we packed a lot in for being there such a short time. Mark and Jack watched two baseball games while Ryan and I went and did our "girl" thing. I always enjoy going to Memphis-good friends and good eats! Didn't make it to Graceland...maybe next trip!

It's a little noisy around here today...good thing we aren't stuck in the house all day. The crane is now in use and Jack has been easily entertained this morning. He has been trying to tell the workers good job but it's a little loud for them to hear him! I think this road isn't going to be too bad-I'm seeing it as a positive. It will be great access and it's so low that we won't even know it's there! Hope everyone has a good weekend.....hope this crane doesn't slip down the backyard-that would defintitely be a negative.

Day 10

Just a reminder to all of my Amish Friendship Bread friends out there....It's day 10 and time to bake! My kitchen...or should I say my whole house...smells so delish! I decided to freeze a starter so I will always be able to whip some up.

It's going to be a beautiful day here...lots to do but will make time for a picnic in the park!

P.S. Charisa is still preggers!

Flo Rida

Well, Dad informed me that he didn't think my picture of my Amish Friendship Bread looked very appetizing. My mom, sister, and myself disagree. He said that I needed to update so he doesn't have to look at it every morning. So these pictures are for you dad.....taken over our spring break Florida trip! Hope these are easier on the eyes.

Amish Friendship Bread

My friend, Stacy, gave me a starter for Amish Friendship Bread 10 days ago. So, for 10 days you have to mush it, add to it, and then on the 10th day you bake it. It makes two loaves and 4 starters to give away. I will have to say it has been a hit for Team Little & Team McFarland. I think I might even keep a starter for myself to make it again! If anyone is interested...let me know. Mom and Charisa have a starter-

P.S. It's 6:08 and Charisa is still pregnant!

Crazy Hair Day

It's crazy hair day at Jack's school! He wouldn't let me put colored spray in it....he just wanted it spiked up! Fun Fun!

Don't forget it's Tax Day. Walgreens is offering a special offer.....You get 15 prints for free!! Take advantage of this special offer-just enter TAXDAY in the promotion box when ordering!

Weekend update with Char Bray

Well the weekend is here.....and it's very cold and windy. Jack's soccer game is cancelled. That e-mail was music to my ears. It's way too cold to stand outside and watch a 4 year old soccer game. The 60 degree weather last weekend spoiled me.

So Ryan's art class this afternoon works out perfect on a day like today. The Edwardsville Arts Center offers free art classes on Saturday's for children and adults. Today they will be painting a piece of pottery-she is looking forward to it.

Mark will be waiting here for his new cell phone to arrive-a blackberry (sorry Justin.) His other phone has shot craps on him and he lost all of his numbers. Bummer.....

Hope everyone has a great weekend-

Time to Celebrate!

I know it has been awhile since my last post. Sorry, but after you hear why you will understand. I PASSED MY STATE REAL ESTATE EXAM TODAY! I am so relieved to be finished with this class. My brain is so tired - I just want to relax and look through my tray of magazines that are waiting for me tonight :) Oh, I can't wait!!!
