O.K. There has been a weight that has been lifted off my shoulders-my hummers are back. YIPEEE! I saw the female three times yesterday, the male once, and a new green one today!.

I just googled my mulch fungus to see if there was a name and what I can do about it...It seems like other people have this same problem and they call it....Are you ready for this?.......DOG VOMIT SLIME MOLD!!! One person said I should embrace this...Are you kidding? Would you like looking at this everyday?

Holy Cow! Tell me, would you petrified if you walked out your front door this morning to see this in your mulch? I thought maybe it was some kind of animal marking his territory but come to find out it's just a fungus. Thank Goodness!

Another Memorial Day Weekend has came and went. We had a great weekend visiting with family and friends. Vance survived his 2nd birthday-it was a great party! I always hate to see them go but am looking forward to our next visit :)

Well we're getting ready to kick off Memorial Day Weekend tonight! The McFarlands will be Southbound and Down here in a little bit and let the festivities begin. Jeff and LeAnne made lasagna tonight to celebrate mom and aunt dee's birthday. Can't wait to dig in :) The pool opens tomorrow and have a little party to go to tomorrow night. Vance Johns turns 2 on Sunday and we're having a pizza party to celebrate! Looking forward to a great weekend :)

I'm happy to say that I have officially attracted my very own humingbird. He is so cute-a ruby throated humingbird to be exact. What a tiny little thing-would have never thought I would get so much enjoyment watching him! I always find myself going to my bedroom window hoping to catch a glimpse!
